Planter: Bugs & Bubbles (Medium)

$80.00

I went to town on the surfaces for this piece. This stoneware planter was wheel thrown with an attached plate and two drainage holes. I then used it for a surfaces demo in one of my classes. The bubbles were blown on using a mix of stain and dish soap. The bugs are underglaze transfers. Various colors of glaze gradients softly overlap around the piece, mimicing a soda firing. A perfect unique quirky one of a kind piece. Medium sized for a robust succulent or a flowering plant. Healthy drainage holes.

About 4.5”h x 5.5”w see photos

Cone 10 reduction

Slight warping is common in high temperature firings. Your plants won’t mind.
